Born and raised just outside Asheville, Richard Jenkins has been an entrepreneur from a young age. In 2025, he purchased Carolina Firewood Company and now operates it alongside his other venture, Natural Timber Firewood.

Richard sources only responsibly harvested hardwoods from Western North Carolina, transforming them into premium kiln-dried cordwood—perfect for both heating and cooking.

A conservationist at heart, Richard cares deeply about preserving the natural environment of our region.

He takes his reputation as a conscientious firewood processor seriously and works hard to be a trustworthy, dependable supplier.
