At Natural Timber Firewood (NTFW), we’re dedicated to providing the highest quality firewood in Western North Carolina. Our 36-hour kiln-drying process has no shortcuts or exceptions, ensuring every fire you light is hot, clean-burning, and easy to get started.
Delivering outstanding customer service and exceptional firewood products is always at the heart of what we do.
Born and raised just outside Asheville, NTFW owner and operator, Richard Jenkins has been an entrepreneur from a young age. In 2025, he purchased Carolina Firewood Company and now operates it alongside his other venture.
Richard sources only responsibly harvested hardwoods from Western North Carolina, transforming them into premium kiln-dried cordwood—perfect for both heating and cooking.
A conservationist at heart, Richard cares deeply about preserving the natural environment of our region. He takes his reputation as a conscientious firewood processor seriously and works hard to be a trustworthy, dependable supplier.
You can count on him not to leave you out in the cold. Not sure? Residential and commercial references are available upon request.
